New Principal:  Welcome Michael (Mike) Larkin to Crystal Lake School.  We are excited to have Mr. Larkin join our school and are confident his experience and leadership will show the way to many accomplishments. 

 

Movie and Pizza Family Night:   Come join the fun next Friday, January 25th for a movie and pizza.  Notices were sent home last week.  If you need further information, contact Kathy Carle at 896-1759.  The snow date is February 1st. 

 

T-Shirt Sale:  The order slips for Crystal Lake School shirts will be sent home soon.  Watch for this year’s shirts with an eye-catching new logo!  If you have any questions, contact Karen Iverson at decdenkaren@aol.com.

 

Crystal Lake School Sign:  We will no longer be the school with no sign!!!  In honor of Dr. Dwyer’s recent retirement, a beautifully designed sign was presented to her for the school.  The sign will be erected in the spring and landscaped flawlessly!!  Thanks to all who helped with this endeavor and we look forward to seeing Dr. Dwyer walk past this sign during her visits!

 

Reading at Home:  On Friday, January 11th, students came to the cafeteria for a snack to celebrate with those who read 30 hours. 

The 30-hour readers were presented with a certificate and a book of their choice.  Congratulations and keep reading!!!

 

Dream Dinners Fundraiser:  What an easy way to prepare your meals, help Crystal Lake School, and have a great time all at once!  Dream Dinners, located on Rte. 83 in Manchester, is a fairly new establishment which caters to the busy family life.  Between February 15th and March 15th, a portion of proceeds will be made available to CLS.  So get some friends or family members together, go to Dream Dinners and select from a variety of foods to prepare dinners for seven days, 14 days or more!  Notices will be sent home soon and if you have any questions, contact Colette Aldrich at 827-2855.

 

Spring Fundraiser:  Keep a lookout for the Munson’s Chocolate and Yankee Candle flyers which will be coming home soon.  Ordered items will be delivered in time for Easter.  Contact Candy Williams at 870-0084 if you have any questions.

 

Upcoming Events:  Winter carnival, Author Susie Kline, BINGO and more.  Please contact any officer if you would like to volunteer for any events. 

 

Box Tops for Education: Keep those box tops coming!  Ask parents, grandmas, aunts, uncles, neighbors or anyone who might want to help our school earn cash.  Thank you for your continued support!  Please contact Stacy Beaudry at 871-2196 if you have any questions or comments.

 

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise indicated) at 7:00 p.m. in the CLS Media Center.  Upcoming meetings are: February 12th, March 11th, April 8th, May 13th, and June 10th.  Please come!!
