Scholarships

Four Hartmann Family Foundation Scholarships are available in Guidance. Applicants must be planning to major in Healthcare, Education, or Business or have lettered in a varsity sport. Deadline: May 28, 2008 

CT Sun Foundation Bright Horizons Scholarship---Graduating senior planning on attending a 4-year college or university in the state of CT beginning fall term of 2008, demonstrate financial need, minimum SAT score of 1010 or ACT score of 21, G.P.A. of 3.0 on 4.0 scale.  Deadline:  May 30, 2008

American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship. Applicants must be children or grandchildren of American Legion or American Legion Auxiliary members OR children of veterans. Deadline: varies

The Milton Fisher Scholarship for Innovation and Creativity – Looking for students who have solved scientific, artistic or technical problems in a new or unusual way.  Deadline:  June 18, 2008

Tolland County Farm Bureau - $500 award given in memory of former directors, Franklyn and Diruna Kibbe.  Students must be residents of Tolland County and must be planning to further his or her education in the field of animal science or food crop production.  In addition, the student must be an entering freshman admitted to the University of ConnecticutDeadline:  June 1, 2008.

 Tau Kappa Epsilons Triangle Achievement Award – Male high school seniors who plan to attend the University of CT in the Fall of 2008.  Deadline:  June 30, 2008.

Rock Cats Foundation – High school senior scholar athlete, planning to enroll full-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.  Deadline:  May 31, 2008.

The Kline Family Community Service Scholarship – Graduating senior planning to attend the University of CT and who has a demonstrated record of community service.  Deadline:  July 1, 2008
