Committee Description

The Crystal Lake Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) gives parents and teachers the opportunity to work together to enhance and deepen our children’s educational experience. Parental participation in school has proven to be an important element to a student’s success. Studies show children do better in school when parents are involved.

There is no better way to get involved in what is happening or is going to happen at your child’s school. Consider becoming a volunteer or chairperson of an event. There are many things you can do to help. Participation in PTO activities in any amount of time and help in any way that fits your schedule benefits your child.

The PTO is a great way for you to become connected, meet other parents and teachers, build rapport and stay informed. Let your voice be heard. Attend the monthly meetings to be part of a team helping to make positive changes. Hear what is happening, share ideas, concerns and experiences with other parents and educators.

For the 2022-2023 school year PTO meetings will be held once a month on the third Monday of each month except for January and February due to school being closed.  Meetings will starting at 6:30 pm.
