Founded in 1984 and directed by volunteers, the Ellington Athletic Booster Club (EABC) has worked every year to meet its mission: provide financial support to the athletic programs at Ellington High School and Middle School. Thirty-one years later the funding raised through membership dues, fundraising events and the generous support of the local business community, has had a significant impact on athletics in Ellington.

The Athletic Teams at Ellington High School and Middle School continue to achieve unprecedented athletic success. Additionally, our student athletes are excelling as class scholars and are serving as outstanding ambassadors throughout the community. Our student-athletes truly represent all that is good about sport.

EABC highlights include:

• Provide funding for new uniforms for middle school and high school athletic teams ($13,000 in 2012 to purchase new uniforms!).
• Sponsor the Varsity Letter Blankets program.
• Provide funding for team equipment including; hurdles for Track and Field Teams as well as strength training equipment for the varsity strength room.
• Financial support to assist with the expansion of varsity teams in Ellington.

As sport teaches all of us, a team’s success is dependent on the collective contributions of every team member. To achieve our goals we need the support of the Ellington community.
