A trip to Quebec, Canada is scheduled for the next school year. All French students from 8th-12th grade are invited to attend this trip. The students leave on Friday, October 5th and return on Monday, October 8th, 2012 (Please note that Monday is Columbus Day). It provides the French language learners of the Ellington School district with the unique opportunity to be immersed in the culture, language, and history of a nearby francophone country. Students will be provided with the opportunity to use various levels of French conversational skills in an authentic setting. An informational meeting for parents and students is scheduled in the Ellington High School Library on Monday, May 14th at 7:00 pm.
