Pay to Participate

The Ellington Board of Education finds it necessary to establish a participation fee for all board-funded interscholastic athletics.   Cooperative and Collaborative teams may be different depending on the host school.   Participation fees for  2022-2023 sports are $100.00 per athlete per season.  (Dance & Fall Cheerleading $60) There is a $500.00 annual family cap.  This cap applies only to Ellington High School interscholastic sports.

  • All fees will be issued each season AFTER tryouts. 
  • To ensure continued participation in EHS athletics programs,  fees will be due prior to the first scheduled contest.  If fees are not paid by this date, students will not be eligible to participate in any games / contest.  

Instructions on How to Pay to Participate 

  1. Sports fees will be assigned within Infinite Campus, which allows families to pay via credit card or bank transfer. 

  2. If you would like to continue to pay with a check you may still do so.  You must complete the Pay to Participation form located in the tab to the left and submit a check to the EHS Main office. Please make checks payable to the EHS Activities Fund.  

**Please take note that checks and forms that are not filled in correctly will not be accepted.

**Athletes will be allowed to practice/ strength train/condition with the team as long as online signup and valid physical is on file.  Athletes who have not paid the pay to participate fee will not be eligible to participate in any games until their account is in good standing.
