Second semester at Ellington High School is shaping up to be one of our most opportunity-rich yet, with new programs designed to give students meaningful, real-world experiences that go far beyond the traditional classroom. These offerings reflect our commitment to supporting the whole child, academically, socially, emotionally, and as emerging leaders in our community.
This spring, Ellington students will have access to hands-on career exploration through engaging STEM labs and simulations, leadership and wellness experiences that build confidence and connection, cultural and experiential learning opportunities that extend beyond our school walls, and enrichment activities that reward curiosity, effort, and character. Each of these programs is intentionally designed to create authentic performance tasks, deepen student engagement, and help students see themselves as capable, connected, and prepared for what comes next.
This is what it looks like when Ellington Knights Suit Up and Stand Up, not just in words, but in action. We are building pathways for students to explore careers, strengthen their well-being, and develop leadership skills. We encourage families to review the upcoming offerings carefully and talk with their students about which experiences align with their interests and goals and register as soon as possible.
Enjoy a well-deserved break with your families. When we return, we look forward to launching a second semester full of growth, discovery, and opportunity.
