The link below is to the bus routes for the Ellington Public Schools. The following bus routes are tentative and may be adjusted as needed.
Center School
Crystal Lake
Windermere
Ellington Middle School
Ellington High School
Rockville High School
Cheney Technical High School
Students should be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes before the bus arrival time. Please allow additional time, as bus runs tend to take a little longer than normal during the first few days of school.

This form allows you to modify a student’s base schedule to accommodate pick up/drop off at a different location other than the student’s home address (e.g., daycare, dual household). The schedule must be consistent week to week.

You must submit a new form for each school year by August 1st; it is not assumed your arrangements will remain the same. Due to the volume of requests, changes for the new school year submitted after August 1st may not be accommodated for up to one calendar month from the time of submission.

The Ellington Board of Education has established a policy based on state guidelines to provide safe, reasonable and appropriate transportation services to Ellington students.
Any parent who may have an issue with their child's bus stop once routes are set should first contact the bus company, First Student, at (860) 875-6675 to discuss the concerns. If the issue is not resolved after speaking to First Student, you may pursue your concerns by completing the online Transportation Change Request Form below.
Your request will be reviewed by the district’s transportation coordinator as soon as possible. A decision will be made once all pertinent information related to your transportation request has been reviewed. We appreciate your patience while your request is being processed.
Please note, this form is not for day-to-day changes, nor is it for changes based on an address change, or other alternate destination (e.g. daycare). Please review the Base Transportation Schedule and Special Circumstances forms for these requests.

Special circumstances change requests are for specific day-to-day changes. They must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance, but no more than 1 week.
