Important End Of Year/Graduation Information for SENIORS and Their Families

Posted Date: 04/20/26 (01:43 PM)

Dear Seniors and Families,

We are fast approaching the end of the 2025-2026 school year, and for our graduating seniors, this means a whirlwind of important and exciting activities!

The final weeks of the school year are always packed with significant events designed to celebrate your achievements, honor your hard work, and prepare you for graduation. We understand that the number of mandatory and optional activities -  from final exams and award ceremonies to rehearsal, class events, and the final graduation ceremony - can feel overwhelming.

Please review the attached Senior End-of-Year Calendar carefully. The below calendar outlines every important date for May and June.

We strongly encourage both students and parents to add these dates to your personal calendars to ensure that all mandatory requirements (like exams and rehearsals) are met. Missing a mandatory event can impact a student's eligibility to participate in graduation.

All graduates are invited to attend and share in a full night of fun, camaraderie, and celebration at the All Night “Safe Graduation” Party after our graduation ceremony, beginning at 10:00 p.m. at “Spare Time” in Vernon, CT. There is a recommended donation amount of $50.00 per family to cover some costs of the Safe Grad night.

We look forward to celebrating this exciting time with you and celebrating the Class of 2026. Please contact the main office with any specific questions regarding the attached schedule.

All the best,

Jon Mitchell

EHS Interim Principal
