Hello Center School Families,
The Center School PTO is excited to enlist your support to kick-off the school year! We invite you to serve as a room parent for your student’s classroom for the 2026-2027 school year.
Each classroom will have a team of up to 3 parents (a “lead” parent and two additional parents) to support classroom activities. While all parents may share responsibilities equally, the lead parent will communicate directly with the classroom teacher. Room parents are responsible for planning three classroom celebrations throughout the school year:

Friday, October 30th- Harvest Parade & Party

Friday, December 18th (early dismissal)- Holiday Party

Friday, February 12th- (early dismissal)- Valentine's Day Party
Room parents will also work together to design and decorate the classroom door for Teacher Appreciation Week, which runs from Monday, May 3rd- Friday, May 7th.
We also ask that each room parent attend at least one PTO meeting during the year in order to provide feedback on classroom activities and determine how the PTO can best support each classroom.

There will be an important Room Parent Meeting on Tuesday, September 29th at 5:15 p.m. in the Media Center. We would also love to see you at our kick-off PTO meeting directly following the Room Parent Meeting on September 29th at 5:30 p.m.
